I travel a lot and wish to copy from my sky+ box to enable me to watch recorded material on hotel TV's or dvd players. I used to use an LG dvdr to burn to dvd's, but this has now died. I have searched for new DVD recorders with edit facilities but to no avail. Any suggestions on the best way to copy programmes to allow me to watch on any Digital TV. PS, I have a Galaxy note 10.1

Bear in mind that you cannot copy recorded Box Office movies - it would breach the copyright agreement.

To copy broadcast content:-

Connect a SCART lead from the Sky+HD box to a spare SCART socket on a DVD recorder.

Set the DVD recorder to the Line In feed (labelled AV, Line or Aux)

Insert a formatted blank DVD into the recorder

Cue up the programme on the Sky+ box that you want to copy

Put the DVD recorder into ‘record’ and then start playback on the Sky+ box
