Finished instalation proccess but Internal freeview box has not found channel 4 and itv1 which have very strong signal. Have tried rescanning but has not worked. This is a second TV ,main tv with external freeview box picks up above channels no problem. only running on anolouge ariel.

If as you say another TV in the location gets all channels- and this one does not. it could be a fault in the set. but equally and worth checking is the ariel lead length.

Try setting the machine up on the primary ariel- that feeds the 'Main TV' that gets all signals.
The aerial lead is factor- 1/2 inch more or less can make a difference.

Spell it out Stuartli for all of us

Easy. My "Main TV" aerial lead is at least 40ft long - half-an-inch either way isn't going to make any difference..:-)

Ensuring that the coaxial plug's wiring connection is clean and bright and that the outer braiding is properly isolated might help.

If not, trim off this small section and create a new coaxial plug connection.

No need to buy one.
a short length of Co-Ax and a straightened out coat hanger to trial will do then try it in various positions.
