Blackberry 8520 - WiFi Connection Mystery

Hi all,

I was given a Blackberry 8520 for work in November. I initially set it up and it connected to my home wi-fi straight away. A couple of day's ago it stopped connecting telling me it cannot acquire an IP address. Nothing has changed since setting it up in Nov. I have taken the battery out, reset the phone and reset the modem/router, all no use.

I have 3 laptops in the house and an i-phone that all still connect with no problem.

Any ideas how I can get the Blackberry working again?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, as well as deleting your network profile from the 8520 and starting again, I'd also try disabling all three radio connections (wifi, mobile and bluetooth). Then re-enable wifi and scan for networks again. Then enable bt. if problem persists, finally try enabling mobile connection.
