Australian Mobiles

What prefix do I need to dial an Australian mobile?

I've tried the normal landline prefix but keep getting "Not Recognized"

Is there a special code to use?

For my children in Sydney, I just dial 0061 followed by 9 numbers (beginning with 4, so assume a zero is missed off?).

I normally dial +61 then the mobile number beginning with the 4

Thanks - that's what I've been trying but doesn't seem to work.

you dial +61 and then the number, starting with 4.
