A friend mentioned to me on Saturday night that he was waiting for Philips to launch a DVD Recorder with the exact specifications you require.

He said it would be available for the Xmas market.

If I do'nt find one before then, I'll put it on my christmas list, I've been good all year so snata might bring me one.

He might also treat me to some typing / spelling lessons.

you need the new sky HD box, has 160Gb hard drive and includes the features of the sky+ box.

read about it not sure when it goes on sale probally in time for xmas, I would ring sky for further info.

can,t recall the web page at present but it did look good [not sure now if it had dvd]

Keeping this alive as I'm looking for similar, seems to me they don't exist?

Or do they..........

Pace did a twin Freeview tuner to Hard Disc (but not to DVD) a couple of years ago. Might be worth checking out their latest machines.

Thanks I'll google for pace and see what comes up.
