Wireless PCMCIA card & Internet access

  femural 17:20 26 Jan 05

Does anyone have any experience of a wireless network card for a laptop that will give me internet access on the move from any location without having to use an access point? I seem to remember hearing something about being able to link to the G3 phone network at 3 x times current dial up speeds, where available otherwise using the GPRS network at a lower speed.

Sorry to be so vague this is all quite new to me oh ps it needs to be a PCMCIA card

vodaphone's one is very popular, but cost £80+ per month

by the way, the wireless network card you have is useless for this purpose
