WMP7 is affected,this is for Win98/98se/ME/2000.

WMP8 is affected in XP.

just confirming that all users of WMP7 & WMP8 need this patch,including Win98se...

when updates have finished downloading its an idea to 'check details' before installing,then you know what you're getting.

go to the windows update site,and 'view installation history'.
