There are literally hundreds of sites that will offer hints, downloads etc. so it is not really a problem.

Interestingly a recent survey on Google users showed that 38% of all 'googlers' used XP and 29%used W98.

I used 98 for nearly 5 years and never downloaded any updates, so it is not really a major problem.
