Thinking of McAfee vs. AVG vs. G Data

There really is very little if any need to pay for computer security.

Free applications such as Microsoft Essentials click here are all you need.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, 4.5 out of 5 stars in PC Advisor mag currently on the shelf. McAfee too heavy on system, AVG not as good even though daily scanning. Kaspersky tells you what to update if anything is vunerable in system files which I find good and loads of other nifty tools built in. Virtual keyboard, type you card details in online to prevent keylogging hacks!

There have been many threads on this. I suggest however that you start with PCA's reviews in the Security Advisor section click here

AVG Internet Security isn't too bad click here. The review was for a single licence at £39/year.

But now it's great from a value perspective too - under £5 for 3 licences/year click here / click here. G
