Hi there,

Ive been looking to get an external hard-drive to store music and video files for a while now and have been watching prices steadily go down over the past few months. At the moment Im torn between a couple so any advice on which to go for would be appreciated.

Im looking for a minimum capacity of 250gb both dont really want to spend too much.

With free delivery before christmas, Amazon have a few bargains and pixmania seem pretty cheap too. The drives im considering are:

Amazon: (Free postage)
Western Digital My Book 320GB Essential USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - £82.99

They are all as good as each other. Ebuyer seem to be very good at delivery and Pixmania is based in France. I would go for Ebuyer.

I got one of these, order and collect at the store, save yourself £40 and a nice piece of kit to boot.

The Maxtor I got from Novatech is rather nice, under £80 I think.
