Any recommendations for a Windows XP Home PC? Does Kaspersky crash your PC? It says it does at download.com. Thanks in advance

I use NOD32 click here

Fast, unintrusive, top detection rates, updates automatically and smoothly.

Does what it does (protect against viruses) superbly, and isn't burdened with loads of "bells and whistles"

I run the free AVG programme click here Never had any problems with this programme so far. I have used it on W95/98/WME and XP.

My son is an IT support specialist and he advises people looking for a free AV program to use AVG as mentioned by spuds - I find it equally as effective as NortonAV, which I had in the past until Pipex stopped providing it free of charge.....:-)
