No Colour laser printer is ever going to be cheap so it can't be considered as a replacement for an inkjet in the same way a B/W personal laser printer can.
We've got a large HP printer at work (A3) and a full set of toner for it costs £500! We've other 4500 models that the toner is slightly cheaper for but aren't great printers. When they work they are good, but if they go wrong they are a nightmare to fix.
We've an Epson printer as well that does A3 color and again, any replacement on that is always expensive.
It will depend on what you want to print, the size and the quality you expect.
