...apart from the guy not knowing how to refund the previous fan they recommended, I just had a great experience with Maplin.

I was having trouble figuring out which fan I needed to replace my 40mm 2pin fan (they seem rare) but Maplins were very helpful and when the first one didn't work they refunded and recommended another (once i'd told them I have a 3 pin connector on motherboard too!).

Always been quite impressed with their knowledge and service.

They might not always be all that knowledgeable, but I can forgive that considering the range of stuff they sell, but I have always found them friendly and keen to help.

Not many places about now that sell bits and pieces so I hope they remain sucessful.
