I'm after a cheap (under £25), good quality web cam for my laptop.

Any suggestions?

Logitech are good quality and generally inexpensive.

Don't forget 'you get what you pay for' and cheap may mean lack of resolution

If you can find a D-Link NetEasy 350 Pro webcam (was £20 or less) it has a proper CCD sensor and is capable of up to 640x480 resolution; in fact its specifications are the same as a Creative VideoBlaster WebCam Plus I used to own (£55 at the time of purchases) and the performance is identical.

I'm still using the NetEasy for general Skype video-conferencing purposes.
