Thinking of upgrading from xp to Vista but is it really worth it?

i have been told by many people not to touch it....?

What's the rush. If you are happy with XP, then keep on using it, until the day Vista is freely available with most of the bugs ironed out, and nearly everyone using it have very little to complain about.

I would say no, but many will say yes.

It depends upon your perspective and what you use your computer for.

To my mind, the price is excessive for any gain you may achieve as a home user. Plus, there will inevitably be some issues to start with, until everything settles down.

I'm reasonably happy with XP.

I will be getting one Vista machine just so that I can tell clients that we use the latest computer technology but other than that, we will change when the current machines need replacing - which we do on a rolling basis.

XP until Vista comes out with either service pack1 or 2.

I'll upgrade to Vista as soon as it is released although the decision will be based more on interest than practicality

I have run Vista beta versions for three months now i still prefer WXP it didn't do much for me i don't download games ext so would be a waste for me other people would differ know doubt.
