I ordered Broadband package and then decided to cancel it before the activation date (which is still several days away.) Although the Broadband team acknowledged my email, I was told to ring their number and cancel it that way. I tried to do this but, despite staying on the phone for over 40 mins on several occasions, I couldn?t get through. Surely, cancelling by email should be an acceptable way to cancel this order. Do I have any recourse legally should they go ahead and debit my account for the service I have asked to be terminated?

i would definitely not depend on an e-mail to cancel-its well documented how email boxes at these places are often ignored.Youre gonna have to grit your teeth and get back on that phone I reckon.
