virgin media letter re:phonebill

We had a letter from vm last week informing us that we have been underpaying our phone bill,they wont charge for the underpayments but the next bill would be at the correct price?

After ringing vm up i was told it was a mistakenly sent letter and they had a lot of enquiries about it.
It quite honestly looked like a "fake" generic letter

Just wondered if anyone else received it?

No.Never got that one.But got a letter thanking me for getting broadband from them and an engineer would be out on a certain day to install it.I phoned them up explained that I already had broadband with them and had not ordered anything.I was told to ignore it.But checked the next bill and they had charged me an extra £25.I was on the phone for about 15 minutes trying to get that sorted.So it always pays to check your bill after receiving any letters from them.
