Hi guys,
Wanted some advice. I want to get a camcorder for christmas, but with so many on the market dont know which one to choose. My friend told me to get a sony touch screen. But I dont really know enough any advice would be grateful.
P.s. also should i get a digitial or a mini dv tapes?

All quite capable, my personal preference being Mini DV, the rest capture in Mpeg format which reduces quality (but not really to any degree that's noticeable)

but can i put dv tapes onto my computer?or is it easier just to use the other types?

You can attach your camera to your pc for downloading footage.
