Can you post a link please so that we can have a look at the specs.

£300 is somewhat low if you want to play the latest games with any sort of quality. In reality you should be looking at £500+.

The weak link is the graphics card. You may well be able to play games but with the resolution turned way down.

Would I be able to purchess a good quality graphics card with £70-£100 ?

bmxtom: I don't wish to be the Party Pooper, but your £300 will not buy you what you want.

If you want a satisfying Gaming experience, your £300 should be sufficient to buy you a suitable Graphics Card. You'll need another £500 to buy the PC to go with it.

I would disagree with spending if you want a pc which runs reasonably on games e.g games from supreme comander 2 to crisis 2 you can get a vibox custom ga for £357

Specifications are

AMD Athlon II x4 645 3.1GHz Quad Core +£98.17 (details

Asrock N68-GE3 UCC +£48.34 (details)

NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB DDR3 + 400W PSU +£100.21 (details)

500GB +£34.83 (details)

Sony 24x DVD-RW Internal Sata Drive +£16.69 (details)

1 x Wireless 54G Card +£7.76 (details)

And windows 7 I have home premium 64 bit in total including case Price as configured:£357.38 This should run most games to a good standard if you can get windows 7 home premium cheap you only need to fork out about £380 over your budget but get the pc to this standard and your be fine for starting
