Of course a better and cheaper way is to stop them from blocking up in the first place.

I have 3 Epson printers and 1 HP printer.

I run a test print on all printers which includes text and graphics (black and colour) once a week. Have never experienced a blocked print head yet.

The Epson blocked jet problem is well known
and has been addressed here many many times.

I devised this gadget some years ago and simply post up when ever the topic comes around.
Make it from materials you have to hand - Blue-Peter style

That's the way I used to unblock my Epson printer head, except that I used isopropyl alcohol BP as the cleaner agent. TC.

Thats the stuff [cant get my head around the funny words] if it can be found - a Chemist perhaps - otherwise suggested alcohol if is commecrial forms such as window cleaner or the drinking sort.
Do use Acetone[nailvarnish remover] what ever you do.
If you do - its new printer time.

That should read DO NOT USE ACETONE
of course
