USB and widows 95

I have a P166 powered PC running windows 95 as updated as I can get. How can I get it to run USB ports as I gather USB is not supported by Win95 and other operating systems seem to need more speed &c than I have.

The link by Macaonasa has the gory details but support for USB in Win 95 is very limited and problematic. Also Win 95 apparently does not support USB PCI add in cards so if possible upgrading to Win 98 is the best option.
