Unusual text "from_orange"

  Fateful Shadow 19:25 17 Feb 05

A friend of mine told me about getting 30 free text messages on my phone. I tried it, without thinking about who I was contacting. Fortunately, I soon found out it was part of Orange's "TRY" service.

Today I recieved a ext text message from "from _orange" stating that I had free access to Orange World until the end of April. This is concerning me now (or maybe I'm just paranoid). Why would they send this, and why would they put it as "from_orange"?

Anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks :)

Don't worry, I found out about the "try" service from a web site and about the free browsing from an intranet site at work. Orange didn't bother to tell me personally, you were lucky! I have been busy downloading as much as I can whilst it's free!

150 (I think) and ask them. There are scams out there and so you a right to be suspicious of strange texts
