tv card freezing images

My problem is that after installing my v- stream xpert dtv-dvb-t tv card I was very disappointed with the digital picture, it tends to be very jerky by mommenteraly freezing on the screen continually, be it full screen or minimised.
I run windows xp which has an Intel 2.0 Ghz cpu,512Mb of memory and 43Gb of free Hdd space. I have also installed an asus radeon 9200se 128Mb graphics card, and the tv cable runs of a spare tv socket which is only shared with the main tv.
What is my problem and how do I solve it, can anyone help please.

You could try a signal booster, i have always had to use one with any tv card i've had in the past.
