So how will this appearance on Watchdog effect the TT broadband offer? And may even the CarPhoneWarehouse in general?

I think Talk Talk made a bit of a mistake by advertising free broadband. They probably knew the amount of interest it would attract, but they probably didn't realise it would be such hard work to supply all these people and keep them happy. To be honest I don't think their systems can handle the demand because of all the people trying to connect and it looks like it's causing problems. They're probably doing their best to sort problems out but there's so many now that they can't cope.
