I appologise if this question is in the wrong forum! Just bought a new LED TV. Without paying huge amounts for 2:1 speakers, is it possible to use PC speakers. I just need something to add a little oomph! without the price tag! Thanks.

Yes, if there is a 3.5mm socket on your TV

I bought a cheap LG just narrow enough to fit an alcove and then some mid range Creative speakers which are parked just above the TV on a black painted ledge.

Much better sound. It all depends on the presence of that socket on the TV

If you have the required 3.5mm socket, here are a few inexpensive 2.1 ones to consider £16-30: click here, click here, click here & click here.

Creative T20 2.0 are £55 click here. G
