Sony Vaio VGN-FE11M - PC World

The FE11M is apparently an exclusive to the Dixons group, yet from what I can see it is of a lower spec than the FE11S. The FE11M comes with the Intel T2300 Dual Core processor, the FE11S with the Intel T2400 Dual Core processor and the Hard drive is also of a smaller capacity.

However, the FE11S is now available if you look online for around £1150 but PC World are charging £1280 for their version.

What do they think they are doing?

I've just posted to your other thread about the Toshiba; were you thinking of adding the FE11S to your shortlist, if your budget can stretch to it? (£200+ difference between the two).

If so, here's a review click here

I sourced one of these just recently for someone and we were both mightily impressed with it. It's a stunning bit of kit, so if your budget could stretch....

£200??? I must be losing it; that should be £100-£150.

I was considering the Sony as well. It certainly looks nicer than the Tosh, but then the Vaios do.

I was just wondering where PC World get off charging a premium for a machine of a lower spec, presumably because it is only available through them.
