Is there such thing?

Want to view slides on my computer. Is there a gadget to do this?

I think you will probably need something like one of these to scan them so that they can be transferred to your computer.

Depending on the number of slides you need to do, it might be cheaper to ask a local shop, who develop photo's to do it for you.

I had about 1000 and built my own system to do so.

If you are interested, I can copy them and put them on a CD /DVD for you.They will have to be edited(Picassa from google - free), as I take the slide and a part of the cardboard/ plastic as part of the picure.

I did check Google but did not come up with your link - will mull that one over.

Terry Brown, thanks for suggestion, but really wanted to view them on a via a slide viewer, on the computer.

You can then (using a digital camera) take a photo of the ones you want, and transfer to a computer.
