Scanner advice needed re: photo paper handling etc

My wife and son would like to buy me (as an Xmas prezzie) a flatbed scanner that can handle photos colour and black & white in sizes from 6" x 4" up to 8" x 10".

I need one with and (ADF) auto document feeder of some form as I have limited mobility with my arms and hands.

I've looked at some of the HP (6300c) range and they seem only capable of only handling a limited range of sizes.

I need it as cheap as possible - I would also consider buying it second hand.

Please if anyone can guide me.

Merry Christmas to all forum members.

However limited with your mobility I don't think an ADF will make much difference.

I have an Epson Perfection 3170 Scanner. It deals with almost anything. Photo's, text, negatives, slides, and does a very good job.

There are, of course, hundreds of scanners on the eBay site starting from £10 up to whatever you like to pay.
