Scanner & 35mm transparencies

I want to buy a reasonable inexpensive scanner but especially one that I can use to scan my large number of 35mm slides ( all mounted individually ). Has any one any good recommendations ?

Yes, go to click here and in the search box type SA8000. I bought this dedicated film and slide scanner some time ago now and it is very good. The downside is that when I bought it, it was on Special Offer at £149. It is now back up to it's original price of £179.99.

But having said that it is a brilliant and very easy to use scanner.

If you have a local Jessops, it's worth looking at the s/h stock. They sometimes have new, but shop soiled items at good prices. Also knowledgeable staff.

I've just bought this one: click here. It has a higher resolution than the other so the price difference could be justified.

It was easy to set up and I've not had any problems.
