Scam to watch out for.

This is probably a known scam but worth a mention.
I recently advertised a 'classic HiFi' unit on a specialist website for £100 I got a quick response from a chap in Holland - despite the fact I had stated that the item was big heavy & fragile(turntable & pickup arm)
The dutch person bombarded me with emails offering to pay by Cashier cheque finally saying he would send me a cheque for £2000 which I was to cash & send him the balance & the gear.
Apparently these cheques are fraudulent or stolen you cash them & send the balance then your Bank contacts you at a later date to tell you about the fraud & claim the money off you that they have lost & you are liable OUCH.

this scam is fairly well known, but it does no harm to have a reminder.
