Hello all.

I am looking to see which adsl modem/modem router will work in place of the rubbish BT Voyager I am currently using on Aol.

I know Aol recommend certain makes of both, but i wanted to know if any of you guys know from experience which ones work with this ISP.

Specifically, I am looking to get rid of those annoying drops, and am not at this time time bothered about wireless networking!

Regards,

Alex.

I use a D-Link DSL-300T. which is an ethernet modem.
Have a read here click here .

Cost about £40 but might be cheaper now.

I use a Belkin ADSL router. Works fine. I have tried Netgear, not so good and BT 2100, that was OK as well but got blasted by lightening.

Even if you are not worried about wieless now, you may be in a few months, so I would get a wired/wireless modem. The price difference is not that great and you have in-built expansion.
