Refresh to maintain connection to website?

Hi guys, lack of time necessitates that I ask you all for assistence -

I am using a online database (Subscription) that requires me to log in with username and password.

If the connection is inactive for about five minutes or more you are required to log back in and this looses the pages that you were working on. To copy the data to PC is pointless as further searches are needed that require a new log in.

How can I syncronise IE to refresh this particular site (or particular page) so as to keep the connection open with the problems of the password etc?

If I can just refresh the page it may work but not sure.

Many thanks

is there for your protection, and to protect the database. It would be dangerous to allow refreshes to renew the session, and that's why you can't do it.
