Program to create a film strip from jpg's

  Fatboy415 12:38 24 Feb 06

Inspired by the recent Wallace and Grommet film my 10 year old son is making Plastacine models and photographing them with a digital camera.

Does anyone know of a suitable program, and preferably free that he can use to link up all the jpg files to create a film strip?

Thank you as always.

It may not be what you were thinking of Fatboy415 but, Windows My Picture folder will allow you to do this.

Open My Pictures, in the left hand window, select View as a Slide Show.

many of the common photo editing programs have a slide show facility.
A good free one is click here

Get more sophisticated with something like click here a free trial for awhile purchase it for £15 or so. Allows dissolved/music/titles all sorts of tricks

Won't Windows Movie Maker do this? You can import a series of jpg's and combine them.

Serif Draw plus creates animations, should be able to get earlier versions, if not free but cheap.

A slide show creation will be just that - a slide show of each individual file.

It might work if the delay is short enough between files.

Thank you everyone. I will investigate all of your suggestions.
