I've recently invested in new 'high end' PC and I intend to buy a printer to go with it sometime in the next few days. The printer with my old system was a Lexmark Z31, I found it to be slow, expensive and print quality was poor.I do a lot of mono printing and as I've just purchased a new digital still camera I'll probably be doing quite a bit of Photo printing too. My limit is £150, any suggestions?

Agree with wee eddie, excellent printer, I use HP 7350, also an excellent printer for text and photo work. j.

If you do a lot of mono printing you might want to consider a black and white laser, the quality is excellent and you can get on average about 4000 - 6000 pages out of the toners. I bought a second hand Epson EPL 5700L of ebay for £50 and it does me fine for printing of the net. I'm looking for a good photo printer now too so the trouble is it might get put to the side a bit! Its still great for when I'm printing in mono and of the internet though.

ended up buying a canon i550. So far I'm very impressed.
