I wasn't quite quick enough to post to this thread so I will add my view here.

I do agree that holding a mobile phone whilst driving is wrong and should be banned. However - if using a hands free kit & participating in a short conversation this should be fine. Common sense prevails in these situations, short conversations would be expected from normal drivers, business users (Taxis / Buses & the like). Extended conversations or commentary's should be left to those trained for such.

Actually, I am thinking about changing my phone again, I am looking at back tracking to the Motorola V50 ( This is probably the most driver friendly phone of them all )
