Looking to get a decent PC that can handle Cad 3D rendering, gaming and graphic packages with ease.

Came up with this from Ginger6.com It comes in at £760.

Are there any components that could do with upgrading or even downgrading to save some money.

Any advice, reviews welcome. Many thanks!!

a p45 motherboard would have pci express 2 slots to go with a pci express 2 card, not much faster but you may as well have it. 1066 speed ram not a lot more expensive.

Value-wise, doesn't seem that good - have you considered building one yourself?

Make sure the games & Cad software you'll be using works fine in Vista 64-bit (game/sw manufacturers' websites & related specialist forums should give you a good idea).

PSU only has 2x 6-pin PCI-E connectors, & is not 'SLi/Crossfire certified'. Should be OK if you're not going to add another graphics card, or run one of the newer cards that also require a 8-pin PCI-E connector.

What's the model number of the Asus monitor please?

Make sure to get your 4Gb RAM in 2x 2Gb modules, so there'll be 2x slots remaining to add more if required. G
