Seems excellent value, is it any good? I've not heard of the brand before.

Another question. Is 26inch an ok size to view at a distance of 10ft or is it too small? I want big but not too big.

Haier is a Chinese company with world-wide subsidiaries and is the third largest white goods manufacturer in the world. How long they have been involved in television manufacturing is difficult to say and their LCD product is difficult to find listed anywhere on the UK mainland. For the price it seems fair value, but I think the specs are not so good. It is best to visit a reputable TV retailer and see his range of TVs in action in the showroom.

As for viewing distance help and more info have a look at click here TC.

I'm looking a 32 inch now. I had thought 26 is too small and your link agrees with me. Now for a sub £400 LCD?
