I have stuck with Pipex (owned by Tiscali)for over 15 years through rough times , particularly with poor download speeds. I stayed due to lethargy over changing e Mail addresses etc.I am pleased that recently for my "up to 8 Mbps" I am consistently getting 6.1 - 6.3 and spam has been almost absent for more than a year.I also kept my one month rolling contract. I am too far off the main road for fibre optic, and my exchange is not yet ADSL2 enabled, so my downloads are ok for now.For once I want to congratulate Pipex!

Yes I have been on pipex since I first went on line, used to get about 3.7 - 5 but for the last 6 months getting 6.1 - 6.4 sometimes a little higher, its the same amount that BT says it can give me

I bailed out of Pipex when they moved their helpline to 10p a minute workdays only.

I had 2 outages, one on a Sunday and one on a BH and I had nowhere to turn.

Signed up with O2, got an instant 2Mbps boost and I've never looked back.
