A question for all the knowledgable people on the forum.

If you were buying a new pc would you go for one with PCI express or AGP graphic cards.

Also are there any good books on the "teach yourself computers" type of topic?

Thanks in advance.

For a comprehensive guide you can not get much better than Scott Muellers book click here

It is not an idiots guide but neither is it overly technical or geeky.

It also comes with a 2 hour DVD explaining how computers work pitvhed at a really good level.

As for PCI-E and AGP

If you are looking to the future and want to stay on top of the gaming experience then PCI-E is the future and you will need to be there.

If gaming is not important then a non PCI-E machine is likely to be cheaper and serve you perfectly well.
