PCA poll

Some PCA polls seem to be running for ever and some - like the last - "Have you been a victim of internet fraud" - seem to last just 5 minutes. The results of the one asking for members ages was never posted at all.
Is there some system to it or is it just the editors whim?

i presume the questions are asked to give meat to a story that the staff are compiling, but i also presume that not all of the reporting makes it past the editors desk and as such the poll would mean very little without the story.
