above art. suggests asking vendor to show crt screen of your choice with allblack and with all white screen to detect faulty pixels prior to purchase. a reasonable request, but which outlets would do this rather than loose a sale??
How does one get an all black or all white screen?
having purchased said perfect screen, is one then immune from future dropped or otherwise defective pixels?

in the same vein where can one try b4 buy on speaker systems, pc world and others seem to sell loads of makes but only have maybe 2 types working.
