I am in the market for a new vaccuum cleaner. Oreck comes up as a likely candidate, but which one?

QVC are pushing this

but the model is not on Oreck's site.

Anyone got one to recommend, please?

Our Henry is good enough for me.

If you're looking for a good lightweight vacuum cleaner Dyson DC24 takes some beating.

Thanks, I have a 3 in one, a Dyson and a Lindhaus activa 30 pro. None of these get cat hair off the carpet very well.

I recently purchased a Dyson DC33 Animal (specifically designed for pet hair). Although not cheap it's absolutely fantastic at picking up cat hair off of the carpet.

Sorry about that double post!

You need a Harry not a Henry to chase moggie hairs.

Bought a small VAX Swift mainly for doing the carpet on the stairs and would not recommend it to anyone.

My mother has an Oreck and she swears by it but I don't know the model number, I will be seeing her on sunday so I could post back after that if that is any good?
