spotted the following system for sale in office world in Glasgow so don't know if it's available nationwide but looks a bargain to me, as I cant find it cheaper even in the local computer shops.

Acer Aspire T120 AMD 2600+ tower
AMD XP 2600+ Processor

256MB DDR Ram (PC2700)

80Gb Hard Drive

DVD+ReWriter/CD-RW Drive/ 1.44MB Drive

Built-in Digital Card Readers

Intergrated Intel Extreme Graphics

Intergrated AC'97 Audio

USB Ports 2Front,4Rear/ 10/100 Ethernet

56Kbps Modem/ Speakers/ Keyboard/ Mouse

MS Windows XP Home /MS Works V 7.0

Relisys 17" CRT Black Monitor
0.27 x 0.27 mm Dot Pitch

Anti-glare, Anti Static Screen

1280 x 1024 / 60Hz Maximum Resolution

1024 x 768 / 85Hz Optimum Resolution

Control Menu

The lot for £326.31, now I know it's going to set the world on fire but £30 for another 256MB ram and £20 for a second DVD player and it's a very usable system

Hope this maybe helps some one find an early Christmas present.

The onboard graphics cant be intel extreme as it's an amd cpu, best to check what kind of onboard graphics the pc has

Looks good, but of late, there as been a few complaints in the forum about Acer support.

Check the warranty, before you decide to purchase.
