They seem on the whole just like Novatech to be OK.
Only thing i would check is the max amount of RAM they can take.
That was the only gripe when a friend bought one recently.

Just bought an Alpha R Pro and it's great - no problems so far.

I've had one for about 4 years and it's pretty good; a RAM module failed recently for a friend but that could happen with anyone.

I'm a big fan of Novatech and would recommend them to anyone.

My son has had 1 for about 6 months now, he knows nothing apart from using PC's the only time I have seen it was when he bought it round for me to install XP Pro which he bought with it, so obviously nothing has gone wrong or I would have seen it agin.

I bought one of their 'own brand' bare bone lappies about 12 months ago. A fairly cheap one due to financial constraints ;-((

But... It has been great. No problems and does everything I want it to.

My only (very minor - and not affecting most people) niggle is that when I use my laser pointer on the screen, the screen gobbles the dot up and nobody can see it. But it is a very black and glossy screen!

Had a few over the last few years.
Well made, good price & 1st class service.
Novatech should win more awards than they do!!
