One of my friend is looking to buy a computer and is looking at these two click here
Which one would be the best, knowing that he will be using it for internet surfing and games, are they good specifications and how is this company regarding aftersale service?

I'm afraid your link didn't work for me.

Novatech are very well thought of in this Forum. If I want a part for a PC I usually try them first.

Sorry for the link, will try again.

what is the advantage to get XP professional rather than XP home?

XP Pro offers better networking and security features as it's intended, primarily, for business use. See:

Grandson off to University last October knew I favoured Novatech. He had already decided on them against Dell because N. offered from stock and he had left it late.

I phoned to check possibility for a floppy drive added by me.
Instant answer of OK, "2 screws, 2 leads."

Ordered at 16:30, delivered following morning.
Worked straight from box exactly as ordered and has behaved itself completely to date.

Thanks for the replies, Novatech seems a good choice. I'll pass the message.

novatech, simply first class!

Movatech offer the one service others can not do. 1st class service time after time, day in day out, month after month!

The Brigadier is spot on
