During my Vista install i had to wipe my hard drive to get it to work.

I am now trying to re-install Norton internet security 2007 which i bought with an extended download license and it wont work with Vista.
Has anyone heard of this problem and could you possibly suggest a good free piece of software in the mean time.

Thanks

In the latest PCA newsletter it states:

Popular Windows software that is conspicuously missing from Microsoft's Vista list includes Adobe's entire line of graphics and multimedia software, Symantec's security products, as well as Mozilla’s Firefox web browser, Skype's voice-over-IP software and the OpenOffice.org alternative to Microsoft Office.

However, a free upgrade should now be available from Norton:

Select your product and version of Norton on this webpage from Symantec and download the file it directs you to. Then enter your product key and it becomes the full product again.
