What do you want to do with it?

  jbp1982 11:15 02 Apr 05

....and the most important factor after that???

How much cash have you got?

Check any local Aldi's store, they sell PC's for £399 and £699 and both are full of high-spec features and software...

...before we start making recommendations about where to buy or how much to spend?!

Like:

- Budget
- Requirements (what is it going to be used for?)
- Appetite for purchasing over internet vs. a
store

to name a few.

Would not take an Emachines if ya where giving them away. OK maybe I would ;) but I certainly would not pay for one.

Upgradability in these suck, and problems are abundant. From my expereince anyway. Owned two in the space of a week before trailing them back to shop.

Just today in PCWorld Newtownabbey, over at the repairs section, it was overfilled with these machines. Out of 11 computers at least 8 where Emachines.

Another point too.....

Anyone buying from PCWorld check the [email protected] reservation feature. You can pay at the shop and get the goods at the website price! Got a PNY usb memory thingy at half price by reserving it, then going to the store to get it. click here

PC around £600 in PC World will satisfy most users except game xrazy boys
