Im about to buy an new PC as my Evesham is starting to show its age. Thought Id ask here first to see what everyone thought. Found this really cheap deal through hotukdeals website - OP , lebenski so credit to him.

What does everyone think, seeems really cheap for a quad core Intel. The 10% deal has expired but a new one is available until the 9th of January.

Worth noting that the price is just for the BOX. I brought a similar system from Dell before xmas and got 20" monitor, speakers, extra DVD writer for £735 using voucher codes to get 25% reduction in the purchase price and free delivery....

Yes I did notice that. Im going to buy a 22" monitor separately. That will add another £200 or so to the total cost for a good one, Samsung or LG.

Just use google and type in 'voucher codes', select GB sites only, there are several and its is trial and error, but worth it...

I just bought a dell xps 420. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to accpet it with vista. But if all else fails I will install XP from a redundant pc.
