Need some help purchasing a new PC

so, as the title says, I'm stuck.

I have about £1000 to spend and I want to play games. The catch is that £600 of this is in PC World vouchers.

I was thinking the best thing to do would be buy a tower from there for £600 and upgrade the GPU and buy a monitor from a real website.

was my initial thought but can anyone advise anything better? It has i5 and 4gig of RAM but nowhere on there does it mention the motherboard specs or PSU or anything :/

thanks for the help.

I can't find any detailed info. on the motherboard. My Medion desktop PC originally had a 250 watt FSP PSU fitted.

It doesn't tell you whether the 4GB RAM is the maximum that can be installed, or whether the HDD is a 5400 or a 7200 RPM unit. You could contact PC World or Medion, and ask them about it. I would also ask whether or not swapping out the GPU will invalidate the warranty.
