I have a Canon ip5000 which does that, although I see that a recent upgrade to ip5200 is now out. My ip5000 has been first class.

TDK makes specific printers for this purpose:

There's also the LPCD-100 version.

Epson models such as the R200 and some Canon models are also equipped for this purpose.

I too like Epson, today I just got a copy of the Dabs newsletter and they are doing the Canon Pixma IP4200 for £39.99 and according to the advertising on their newsletter it does DVD/CD printing as well. Very cheap but I do wonder at the running costs, I use Epsons because they are cheap for compatible cartridges.

epson r340 is amazing just bought it the other day.

If you use the online reservation thing on click here you can save 20 quid on the store price. I got it for £130.

Superb printer, choicestationery are good and I'll be trying their think+ cartridges when the ink runs out.

I've had both the epson photo 900 and now the R, both print to CD/DVDs. the later being better because it's front loading rather than the 900 which you need access to the back.

I haven't tried printing a CD/DVD yet on my R200, but if the photo printing is anything to go by, should be top notch.

My best mate got his R200 about nine months ago for £62 plus p and p from e-Buyer.

BigPockets is selling it for even less (refurbished) at £52.49. Superb printer apart from occasional ink blockages.

Perhaps even better is their offer of new R300s at £89.99:

I use the above as I also use it for photographs. The quality is excellent.
